In the current study, we examined the relation between disney princess engagement and gender-stereotypical behavior, body esteem, and prosocial behavior during early childhood. This study examines associations between engagement with princess culture during early childhood and gender stereotypes, body esteem, and adherence to hegemonic masculinity in. The present study clearly demonstrates that there are both stereotypical and non-stereotypical gender role portrayals in the disney princess movies.
